Traveling to Charlotte
for Surgery
Patients travel from across the United States and internationally to receive subspecialty pelvic surgery from Dr. Stepp. Our team can help you coordinate the logistics of your stay in Charlotte so you can focus on recovery.
Why Patients Travel to Charlotte for Subspecialty Surgery
Advanced Pelvic Surgery and Urogynecology of Charlotte welcomes patients from across the United States and internationally who choose Charlotte for Dr. Stepp’s experience in complex pelvic surgery.
Kevin Stepp, MD, FACOG, URPS is one of fewer than 10 surgeons in the United States who completed dual fellowship training in both Urogynecology and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. That training enables him to manage recurrent prolapse, mesh complications, concurrent endometriosis and pelvic floor pathology, and anatomically complex reconstructions.
The practice is approximately 20 to 25 minutes from Charlotte Douglas International Airport. I-485 provides a direct route to the office exit, and the practice is essentially the first right after leaving the highway.
"Some patients come to us after several prior consultations or operations. My first job is to listen, understand the full problem, and determine what can reasonably be addressed." — Kevin Stepp, MD, FACOG, URPS
