How quickly can I be seen for a consultation?

Does Dr. Stepp accept insurance?
APSU is an out-of-network practice and does not bill insurance companies directly. There are no monthly or annual membership fees. Patients pay APSU directly, and the office can provide a superbill for eligible medical services. Reimbursement depends on the patient’s plan and is not guaranteed. Review insurance and cost information.

What should I bring or prepare for my first consultation?
Bring any available records that may help Dr. Stepp understand your history, including prior operative reports, imaging, pathology reports, and a current medication list. For a complex history, a brief timeline of prior treatments and surgeries can also be helpful. Our team will explain what is needed when confirming your appointment.

I live outside Charlotte. Can Dr. Stepp still help me?
Yes. Dr. Stepp sees patients who travel from throughout the United States and internationally. Our team can help coordinate scheduling and planning for a stay in Charlotte. Indicate that you will be traveling when you submit the inquiry form or call (980) 771-0726.
