Dr. Kevin Stepp is the founder and president of Advanced Pelvic Surgery and Urogynecology of Charlotte — a concierge surgical practice dedicated to definitive outcomes for the most complex pelvic conditions. He is one of fewer than 10 surgeons in the United States with dual-fellowship training in both Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS), and is double board-certified in URPS and OB/GYN.
Trained at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Stepp has performed more than 7,000 complex gynecologic and pelvic surgical procedures over more than 20 years of specialized practice. He is a global pioneer in Single-Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) and a two-time recipient of the AAGL Golden Laparoscope Award.

Advanced Pelvic Surgery and Urogynecology of Charlotte operates as a concierge, out-of-network surgical practice — with no monthly membership fees. Patients pay for the surgical expertise and dedicated time they receive. Superbill documentation is provided for potential insurance reimbursement.
This model allows Dr. Stepp to offer what the volume-driven insurance system cannot: unhurried consultations, meticulous surgical planning, and direct post-operative access — including his personal cell phone number for all surgical patients.
Dr. Stepp sees patients from Charlotte, the greater Carolinas, and nationwide. A Travel Concierge program assists out-of-state and international patients — including those traveling from Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean — with logistics, scheduling, and recovery coordination.
